Christina Chwyl (“Ch-Will”), Ph.D.

No matter what your inner critic says (or yells), healing is possible with the right support and a safe space.

I am providing both telehealth and in-person services.

By viewing my profile, you’ve already taken a courageous and kind step towards seeking support. I’m so glad you’re here.

Anxiety and trauma can feel overwhelming. Sometimes, pain gets pushed down for years, only to resurface later in life. While everyone’s struggle is unique, many of the people I work with have felt flawed, stuck, broken, or incapable of getting better. Please know that you are not alone. No matter what your inner critic says (or yells), healing is possible with the right support and a safe space.

I strive to create a compassionate, validating space where the important work of healing can happen. I specialize in science-backed treatments for anxiety, trauma/PTSD and OCD. I also support clients in preparing for and integrating psychedelic experiences, which can be powerful tools for catalyzing new thought patterns and promoting deep healing.

My top priority is for therapy to feel safe and transparent—like talking to a real human who has your back. Because we often can’t ‘outsmart’ anxiety or trauma reactions, my approach is action-oriented, often drawing on ‘exposure-based’ techniques. Together, we’ll face what feels overwhelming at your own pace, rewiring your brain to feel safer, calmer, and more confident. It’s an honor to see my clients reclaim their lives and do things they once thought impossible.

As a neurodivergent provider, I understand how traditional therapy may not always ‘fit’ those who think or experience the world differently. I honor these differences by tailoring therapy to your unique needs, preferences, and communication style. I am also deeply committed to creating affirming spaces for LGBTQIA+ and queer individuals. Above all, I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental space where you can express yourself authentically.

Treatment Approach
